Grooming a cat can be difficult; it's hard enough trying to put a collar on a cat let alone approach them with a clipper, but Laura will show you exactly how to handle and approach a cat so that you can cuddle up and get close to it and have a smooth and relaxing experience when grooming it.

We will go over moving the cat around the table to reach different areas. How to hold the cat in positions to ensure no moving and a calm atmosphere. How to tell whether the cat is getting stressed and how to calm the cat down. Where the best places are to hold and touch, and how to control its movements.

These are all very important techniques to know before you can go on to the grooming stage. Next video Laura will be demonstrating how to cut the cats nails. A very important step to cat grooming.
