Yes, we are because sometimes it is important and necessary to wash a cat and actually they quite enjoy it. In this video Laura is going to show you exactly how to give your cat a very nice and relaxing bath.

Cats can clean themselves, of course, but sometimes it is important to give your cat an actual bath and wash it properly with shampoo. Because they have a lot of fur and there are some areas that are difficult for the cat to reach or clean properly, like under the tail or in the creases of the legs, dirt and bacteria can build up and therefore can cause infections.

Giving a cat a bath not only helps the cat to maintain its own level of hygiene but it also helps to reassure you that the cat is 100% clean, and it gives you the opportunity to check your cat over and make sure that everything is okay.

Cats are generally very clean animals but giving a cat a wash every 1 - 2 months is a good way to make sure it is clean and healthy, and it also makes them easier to brush.
